Metal-Plastic Welding Primer:
RadiBond™ Metal-Plastic Welding Primer is a high performing surface primer, applicable for any type of inorganic material (and certain plastics), used when you want to assemble a plastic part onto a non-binding surface through a welding technique. Any type of welding technique that melt the joining interphase can generally be used (dependent on the plastic chemistry), including heat, ultrasonic, solvent and heat pressing. The Welding Primer layer is stable after application and can be stored for several months before the plastic part is welded on.
Metal-Plastic Overmolding Agent:
RadiBond™ Metal-Plastic Overmolding Agent is an ultra-performing primer applied on inserts that are to be overmolded or insert molded with a plastic. The Agent can be applied on a wide range of inorganic materials, including certain plastics. RadiBond Overmolding Agent secure extreme bonding to the plastic after insert/overmolding and is especially efficient for hard-to bond plastics types such as PPS, PEEK, PVDF, PA6 and TPU. The Overmolding Agent layer is stable after application and can be stored for several months before the plastic part is welded on.
Plastic Composites Bonding:
RadiBond™ is a highly efficient bonding agent for fiber-reinforced composites. Composites are naturally extremely difficult to bond onto dissimilar materials, but we have developed a broad range of solutions for using RadiBond™ to achieve unprecedented bonding. RadiBond™ Welding Primer can normally be used for most types of thermoplastic based composites, but we also provide specially designed solutions on request.
