PEEK is an exceptional high-performance plastic that exhibit excellent chemical stability and extreme mechanical strength even at high temperatures. It is typically used for demanding applications that require mechanical robustness and temperature resistance, finding its place especially within the aerospace, automotive and chemical industries. However, PEEK also used extensively in the medical industry, especially for medical implants. Albeit with a high melting point, PEEK can be both molded and extruded into shape, while in solid form it can also be machined at relative ease.
